Its Been A While

Well, im back, lately ive been off on vacation down in Panama City, Florida. I havent gotten any new manga, except for The new Welcome to the NHK. I’m saving up for AWA: Anme weekend atlanta 13, and the new haruhi, higurashi, AIR, my-hime, and kashimashi. Wow, thatll set me back about, at least 100 dollars. WAAAA!!!! God, that sucks. On the good side, ive gotten an infected toe, sunburn, and all 5 albums by muse. WOOO! Anybody willing to fork over a hundred dollars? lol, yeah right. Anyway, heres a pretty picture to cheer you all up!

Suzumiya and Higurashi

I got The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Limited Edition Box in the mail 2 days ago, it is by far the most expensive peice of anime iin my collection! But it was worth it, what with all its features and an excellent dub! Higurashi should be here by next Friday!

Yume and This Week

SO far, I’ve gotten a little through the storyline of Yume Miru Kusuri, and boy am i glad i got this game. The story is sad, at least so far, and the characters are well designed. Ive been through ONE cg so far, and it was pretty well drawn, and the dialouge was actually good, not cheesey. Oh, and next week is the last week of school, so I’ll have a lot more time. And, Lucky Star 6 should be out later this week, so i might as well review it. IM GETTING A JOB AT BESTBUY and 28 Weeks Later, well, all I can say is, 100/10. It rockled, and the ending says sequel, its gonna be fun!

Higurashi-When They Cry- and Haruhi Suzumiya DVDs and Music

Well, I have already preordered both of these (box of course) and am impatiently waiting! When They get here, i will definatly tell you what i thought and what im expecting in the next volume. And right now, I’m gonna review a few of the Higurashi and Haruhi CDs I have.

Higurashi Character Cds 1 and 2
1: Rena, Keichi, and Ooishi: 8/10
Well for one, I loved Rena’s song, Egao Happy Peace. It was hyper, and i love hyper music, but once i finished this, i died inside. Keichi was singing with Ooishi (the fat cop), but it was rapping ABC’s. OMFG! It was kind of sad, but along with those, you have the off vocal (vocals not there) and a drama track (i dont listen to ‘em.), so because of the rapping, it lost 2 points.

2: Shion and Mion
2 great songs, both including both characters (seiyuu is the same) and i give it a 10/10 for this, cause its happy hyper music!

The Licence of Air and Its Movie by ADV Films

ADV Films co-founder Matt Greenfield announced at Anime Matsuri that ADV has licensed both the Air television series and the Air movie remake. ADV was able to complete the deals despite having to acquire the two projects from different licensers. Both anime versions of Air were inspired by a fan-favorite visual novel software release by Key, the creators of Kanon and the more recent Clannad. The first volume of the four-disc Air series will ship August 14, with the Air Movie to follow in late 2007.
